REPORTING BACK TO SCHOOL AND EBOLA VIRUS PREVENTION MEASURES
RE: REPORTING BACK TO SCHOOL AND EBOLA VIRUS PREVENTION MEASURE.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Greetings from the school administration. As students report back to school, we kindly request all parents and guardians to support the School in observing all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at preventing the spread of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). Parents are advised to ensure the following before bringing learners to school:
- Do not send a child to school if he/she has fever, vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained bleeding, or general body weakness.
- Ensure students maintain proper personal hygiene at all times.
- Encourage regular hand washing with soap and clean water or use of sanitizers.
- Avoid unnecessary crowding during reporting and make sure all involvements at school last for minimum 10minutes.
- Students should carry personal items only and avoid sharing utensils, bottles, or clothing.
- Any suspected illness should immediately be reported to the School medical team for further action.
- The school management remains committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all learners and staff.
