Circular for End of Academic Year 2024

Calvary Greetings to you all our beloved parents, Guardians and well-wishers.
On this day, the 1st December 2024, we have ended term 3 of the Academic year 2024.

APPRECIATION
On behalf of the Board of Governors, I take this opportunity to thank you so much for both coming and supporting our Silver Jubilee Celebrations, we stood tall because of you.

ACADEMICS
All leaners in all classes have been assessed and their Report Cards will be sent online via your WhatsApp or E-mail as you discussed with the class teachers of your Child.

We have also designed holiday study manuals / booklets and exercises in all classes and for all subjects, please make sure your child has one for this long holiday.

GAMES & SPORTS
This year, our learners participated in a variety of games and sports disciplines, both indoor and outdoor, and they emerged as Stars in very many; for example, they are the Winners of the music, dance and drama (Bweyogerere Zone), Qualified for National & International Debate Champions some of whom are meant to go to South Africa. Bravo; students and staff!

DISCIPLINE
Girls have abused the use of ear pins and for this reason, all ear pins have been abolished. Only natural hair should be maintained and of either cornrows of not more than three or holding a puff.

SCHOOL FEES
Please note that school fees has been adjusted upwards to 2,400,000/= This was reached after a thorough discussion of the Board members and its meant to help us to better the services rendered to our learners in terms of both welfare and academics.

Study the table below for such clear details;

School Fees 2,400,000/= Termly (S.1—S.6)
P.T.A 50,000/= Once a year (S.1—S.6)
Study Trips 350,000/= Once a year (S.1—S.6)

N.B: You are supposed to pay all fees through the school banks accounts, or, through the student’s code via school pay. At least 70% of the total fees should be paid for the start of the term for those who cannot pay all the 100%.

SCHOOL-ORGANIZED STUDY TOURS FOR THE YEAR 2025
These will be scheduled as follows:

TERM 1: S.2 – February 14th, 15th, 16th and 21st, 22nd, 23rd (Lake Mburo National Park)
S.3 – February 28th, March 1st, 2nd and 7th, 8th, 9th (Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru)

TERM 2: S.4 – June 6th, 7th, 8th and 13th, 14th, 15th (Queen Elizabeth National Park)
S.6 – June 20th, 21st, 22nd and 27th, 28th, 29th (Murchison Falls National Park)

TERM 3: S.1 – September 26th, 27th, 28th, and October 3rd, 4th, 5th (Semuliki National Park)
S.5 – October 10th, 11th, 12th and 17th, 18th, 19th (Lake Mburo National Park)    

NB: These tours are compulsory for everyone because they help in exposure, discovery and practical learning that enhances knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitude (KUSVA) relevant in the new curriculum.

REPORTING DAYS FOR TERM 1, 2025
S.4 and S.6 – Sunday, 2nd February 2025
S.2 and S.3 –
Monday, 3rd February 2025
